Thailand is well known for ladyboys or katoeys. So why is this more common in Thailand than other countries? I think a genetic reason for Thailand to have more transgender males than other countries is unlikely.

Perhaps it’s because of the tolerant attitude of the Thai people and, generally, the slighter build of the Asian/Thai body.
